A Few of My Favorite Things

Pleased to meet you, I'm Kelly. I've spent 19 years pondering various aspects of the human condition, trying to figure out what makes things tick. After much exploration, I've found that it's easier to strip life down to the simple things that make me smile. So here it is, a few of my favorite things. Life through a scope of pure joy.

Let’s get one thing straight. Gay marriage doesn’t destroy the sanctity of marriage; adultery, abuse, and annulments do. I support gay marriage for the same reasons I support marriage. And for the same reasons I would have supported the Women’s Suffrage Movement and Civil Rights. Because we are all of us people, plain and simple. You aren’t hurting anybody, then what gives me the right to dictate what you can or cannot do with your life? Please, tell me. Because the moment I start believing my relationship is more sacred than another person’s, or my skin color makes me more qualified to vote, don’t I just destroy what little is left of my humanity?
